Taking place from 10.00am until 11.30am in the central Glossop location of the Glossop Market Arcade, the shopper’s surgery will feature High Peak Borough Councillors Damien Greenhalgh and Godfrey Claff who represent Howard Town, Nick Longos from Padfield, Bob Mckeown from Hadfield South, Ed Kelly from Hadfield North and Anthony Mckeown from Gamesley, and with his other ‘hat’ on Glossop and Charlesworth County Councillor Damien Greenhalgh.
Apologies this month from Councillor Graham Oakley from Whitfield who is unavailable, but should you have any issues the other councillors in attendance will be happy to help or take details to pass on.
The ‘shoppers surgery’ has no set theme, and the councillors will be happy to answer any questions, comments and concerns that locals have. The councillors hold the surgery in the central location of the Glossop Market Arcade as it’s someone where you may be passing whilst out on a Saturday rather than you having to go somewhere special.
Cllr Anthony Mckeown commented ”Whatever the issue, if we don’t know the answer, we usually know someone that does and our monthly shopper’s surgeries so far have had a good range of issues been raised from the simple and quick to solve to those that take a little more thinking.”
He added “However if you have an issue, but you aren’t about on Saturday morning don’t forget that councillors aren’t just available at surgeries please still get in touch – but even if you don’t have an issue to raise feel free to call and say hello if you’re passing on Saturday morning.”
